Meet Our Team

Bev has been associated with Stephenson Eye Associates since it’s beginning in 1989. Bev grew up in Bradenton and received her Florida Optician license in 1979. She is our Office Administrator and Surgery Consultant. She loves to travel and is very active in the Venice Lions Club.

Nancy joined our team in 2006. She spent some of her school years here in Venice and then moved to Texas. Family ties pulled her back to stay. Nancy handles our receivables and scheduling. She loves to read, travel, take long walks on the beach and enjoy the sunsets.

Betty has known Dr. Dee since attending junior high school in Clearwater. After living in several other states, the sun and sand drew her back to Florida. In 2013 Betty joined our team. Betty will be the first person to greet you at our front desk registration. Betty loves to cook, read and relax at the beach.

In 2016 Sarae’s career journey brought her to Stephenson Eye Associates. In no time her technical skills advanced her to our senior technician. In 2018 she received her Certified Ophthalmic Assistant certificate.

Debra joined our team in 2017 as our Coding Expert and patient billing representative. She graduated from Meridian College with a certificate in Medical Coding and Billing. Debra was born and raised in Sarasota. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, long drives with no destination or just relaxing at home.

In 2020 Stephenson Eye Associates added Makayla to our team. Makayla graduated from Manatee Technical College as a AOA Certified Paraoptometric Assistant. She brings her skills and knowledge and joins us as a technician.
