Since 1989, Dr. Dee Stephenson has successfully treated today’s common vision problems; she can help you maintain your vision and your independence. Dr. Stephenson and her staff make every effort to put you at ease—her boutique practice is located in a beautiful renovated 1926 Italian Renaissance home which is accented by her expertise and her staff’s friendly and courteous approach to caring for your vision needs. She is a Board Certified Ophthalmic Surgeon with extensive expertise in microincisional cataract surgery and implantation of premium intraocular lenses, as well as custom laser cataract techniques.

Dr. Stephenson of Stephenson Eye Associates has been recognized by numerous institutions for her expertise including being named one of the Premier 300 Surgeon Innovators list of leading Innovators for her contributions to cataract surgery and premium IOL’s and also in Who’s Who in Ophthalmology. She is continuously engaged in clinical research and studies to evaluate new technology and is at the forefront of research and development in the creation of specialized surgical instrumentation and techniques, as well as the development of the next generation of intraocular lenses. She passes on her knowledge through lecturing and instruction to ophthalmologists worldwide, and to ophthalmology residents, as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of South Florida.
